This 120 credit Level 6 Extended Diploma in Management is awarded by the prestigious Awards for Training and Higher Education (ATHE) in the UK and has the following options:
The Level 6 Extended Diploma in Management is tailored to develop future-ready leaders with the skills and knowledge required to excel in diverse managerial roles. The programme offers a blend of core leadership and management modules alongside specialization modules covering areas such as human resource management, managing change, and project management.
Through a focus on real-world application, students will gain practical insights into strategic decision-making, organizational leadership, and operational efficiency. This diploma serves as a stepping stone for students aiming to advance their careers or continue their studies in management, including progressing to an MBA programme, while preparing them to lead with confidence and adaptability in today’s competitive business environment.

Core Modules
Leadership and Management
This module develops the foundational leadership and management skills needed to guide teams and drive organizational success. Students will explore theories and practices of leadership, gaining practical insights into managing people and processes effectively in diverse environments.
Research Project
This module allows students to apply their learning to a workplace-based research project, focusing on solving real-world business problems. Managing Quality and Service Delivery
This module explores the principles and techniques for managing quality and delivering exceptional service in organizations. Students will learn to design and implement systems that enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall organizational performance.
Personal Leadership and Management Development
This module emphasizes self-reflection and personal development, enabling students to assess their leadership strengths and identify areas for growth. Specialization Modules
Human Resource Management
This module provides a comprehensive understanding of managing people within organizations. Students will explore topics such as recruitment, workforce planning, training, and performance management, equipping them to align HR strategies with organizational goals effectively.

Managing Change
This module focuses on the strategies and practices required to lead and manage organizational change. Students will analyze different approaches to change management and learn how to overcome resistance, foster innovation, and guide organizations through transitions successfully.
Financial Decision Making for Managers
This module introduces students to the financial tools and techniques necessary for effective decision-making. Students will learn to analyze financial statements, manage budgets, and assess financial risks, enabling them to make informed financial decisions aligned with business objectives.
Accounting
This module provides students with a solid foundation in accounting principles and practices. Students will learn to prepare, interpret, and analyze financial statements, ensuring they have the skills to contribute to sound financial management within organizations.
Economics for Business
This module introduces students to the fundamental principles of economics and their application to business decision-making. Topics include market dynamics, economic policy impacts, and supply and demand, equipping students with the skills to navigate economic challenges and opportunities effectively.
Management Information System
This module explores the role of information systems in supporting decision-making and improving organizational performance. Students will learn about the design, implementation, and management of MIS, gaining practical insights into leveraging technology for efficiency and innovation.
Project Management
This module equips students with the skills to plan, manage, and execute projects effectively. Topics include project lifecycle, resource management, risk assessment, and performance measurement, preparing students to deliver successful projects in diverse industries.
Risk Management
This module provides students with a practical understanding of risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies. Students will learn to develop comprehensive risk management frameworks that enhance organizational resilience and safeguard business operations.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

UGC/ATHE LEVEL 6 ENTRY REQUIREMENT
For entry into the Level 6 Programme applicants should normally meet at least one of the following criteria:
1. WASSCE: Passes in three Core Subjects and three elective subjects including (Mathematics, English Language) or its equivalent (SSSCE, O-Level, A-Level, etc.)
2.Diploma
3. HND. A minimum of 2 years’ work experience is required
The following documents should be provided in addition to the application form:
● Copy of Original certificate
● Two passport photographs

FEES AND START DATE

Fees: GHS 12,000

Pay GHS 1,500 monthly, or pay GHS 5,000 quarterly, or pay all the total of GHS 13,500 and enjoy a 10% discount.
